“The Supervisor is the chief administrative officer of the Township, responsible to the Residents of Hampton Township for the administration of all matters within the Supervisor’s statutory duties or by the authority of the Township’s Charter.”
Supervisor’s Duties, In Part
Township Board Chairperson
Serves as Secretary to Board of Review
Acts as the Township’s legal agent
Maintains records of supervisor’s office, including all grant applications
Responsible for tax allocation board budget (if applicable)
Develops an annual Township budget to present to the Board of Trustees
Recommends appointments to the Planning Commission, Zoning Board of Appeals, Board of Review and the Zoning Board of Appeals (when applicable)
Ex-Officio Member of all committees of the Township Board
Responsible for calling special meetings when required
Has the ability to appoint a deputy to assist the Supervisor in his/her daily duties
